After tea, in form Kane Messenger led the reply with a swashbuckling 79 receiving excellent support from Shane Barwick with an entertaining 48. In a tense finale, skipper Mark Bird (12), Lee Jones (19) and Ted Ivory (8) were all run out sacrificing their wickets in a run chase as Goresbrook fell agonisingly 5 runs shy of their target with Stallions claiming victory.
