Upminster's ' A' string were far too strong for Goresbrooks u11's on Sunday as they amassed 11 -4 from their 20 overs. A solitary wicket for Liam Elsom was all Brook had to show for their efforts in the field until Harry Ivory grabbed a quick brace and a run out. 37 extras did not help the cause one jot.
Freddie Atkins started aggresively and hit four boundaries in his 20 but after he was run out Brook put up little resistance losing a further 5 wickets for just 16 runs until Saad Ali 8* and Harry Ivory dropped anchor and saw out the remaining 7 overs.
Brook closed on 54-6 in a 63 run defeat.
