Frenford fold under Goresbrook pressure

Goresbrook U11's produced a very strong all round performance against a young Frenford side. Goresbrook captain Danny Gillham won the toss and put the home side in to bat. Frenford's batsmen struggled to get the ball away from some excellent bowling from the Goresbrook strike bowlers. The wickets were spread around the Goresbrook bowlers with George Smith, Henry Sleight, Frankie Boland, George Sleight and Nathan Dugridge all taking a wicket apiece.Sam Wood run out Ibrahim to leave Frenford on 37 for 6 after their 20 overs.

After the break Goresbrook's opening batsmen Danny Gillham and Ted Ivory got the visitors off to a great start. They both retired after 10 overs, Gillham on 9 and Ivory on 2. Goresbrook reached their target of 38 in the 11th over losing just the two wickets to win this Hayden Davies cup tie by 8 wickets.
