Biography
An away swing bowler with a strong action and decent pace, Matt broke into the first team at the start of the 2010 campaign as a 16 year old, but after a promising start, injury curtailed much of that season. After a fine 2011 campaign in the 2's, he regained a 1s place in 2012 and although he finished the season back in the 2s, he was recalled and bowled a good opening spell in the Cup Final triumph over Barking.Matt is now 'studying' Sports Science at Brighton Uni, where his knowledge of the biomechanics of a bowling action are less important than knowing which places to avoid on the weekly pub crawl.
