Visiting skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first in this local derby at St. Chad’s park on Saturday.

Sharma then had an immediate impact on the match by running out Aahaan Srivastav for a duck. Manish Battan (2 for 26) also struck with the new ball to leave the visitors reeling but Akash Bhandari led the recovery with a superb 92. He received support in the form of Damion La Pompe who clubbed a run a ball 37. Abdullah Ahmed bagged a couple of wickets for the visitors but the inclement weather had the last word bringing proceedings to halt after 40 overs.
