Goresbrook 2nds were boosted early on by a superb knock of 89 from Richard Williamson against a strong Tennyson outfit at May & Bakers Sports Ground on Saturday. With Andy Livett and Craig Ivey weighing with 34 apiece, ‘Brook posted 232 when all out from 44 overs.

After tea, Tennyson set about their target with gusto. Matthew Friend fired a 3 wicket salvo to give ‘Brook faint hopes of victory but the visitors were always ahead of the rate and they wrapped up a 4 wicket success with 3 overs in hand.
