BiographySince turning up at nets as a 13 year old Izzy has been scaring batsmen with his genuine pace and ability to slip in the odd beamer. A match winner on his day, as his 8 wicket destruction of Barking in 2011 proved, even on his off days he's best played from the non-strikers end.
With the bat Izzy has the unusual ability to strike a mean ball both right and left handed, although in 2012 he mostly demonstrated his knack for playing round straight balls.
Izzy was the first of what was five Goresbrook players to win the ECCL's Young Player of the Year award after taking 27 wickets in the 2006 season as a 16 year old.
