Upminster slayed by rampant brook

The U15s produced a dominant performance on Wednesday evening as Upminster were dispatched with ease at the MABA.

Batting first Brook score 159-4 following a slow start. Alfie's Boland and Atkins fell cheapily, the latter the ball after a huge six before Gillham and Kumar again piled on the runs, both retiring on 31 and 33 respectively.

Adama and Bist pushed the score on later in the innings with Adama unbeaten on 24 and Bist hitting a quick 14.

Upminster were always up against it in the chase and despite good knocks from Twine (16), Perman (17) and Hamberger (18) they couldnt get near the home sides total.

Pick of the bowlers were Kumar with 3-8 and Bist who took 3-0 and bowled just four balls.

Whilst Goresbrook await news of the Cox and Kings quarter final draw they travel to Mayesbrook Park on Monday for a friendly to start Barking CC's cricket week.
