Goresbrook came into this match knowing a win would secure Group D and give a semi-final place in the Cox & Kings Cup. Beehive won the toss and elected to bat first, however Bobby Gaymer was in fantastic form with the new ball and went through the homesters early order taking 5 for 3 from 4 overs, including a superb hat trick. He was backed up by Liam Addison who also bowled well with the new ball taking 1 for 9 from his 4 overs. Billy Smith (0 for 8), Shane Barwick (1 for 6) and Ausman Ginai (1 for 20) were the other bowlers as Beehive stumbled to just 52 runs.
In reply Shane Barwick was controversially given run out for 6 and Ginai fell for 4 before Joel Oliver and Bobby Gaymer settled things down and saw 'Brook through to an easy victory with 7 overs to spare. Oliver ended on 17 and Gaymer 19 completing a fine all-round display for the 15 year old.
