Biography

The generously chinned batsman made his senior debut in 2006, the same year that he played a key role in the Matchplay semi-final victory over Wanstead (as an u13), when his runs down the order were vital in our famous run chase.

On that occasion, against pacy u16 bowlers, JC's favoured scoring area was third man, however in recent years, he's emulated one of his cricketing heroes Kevin Pieterson by looking at most times to hammer the ball through mid-wicket. His other batting role-model is Shivnerine Chanderpaul and once the West Indian retires, JC will have one less rival for the wierdest stance in cricket.

JC joined Lawrence Walsh in an exclusive club when he hit an unbeaten century in the 2012 cup final against Barking, emulating Lol's ton against Asian in the late 90's. Fortunately Barking didn't emulate Asian's score on that day so we lifted the trophy!

After some highs and lows as an opener, Jordan has moved into the middle order, where his 2014 season was spent demoralising attacks that Kurt had blunted with some memorably violent hitting.

Jordan's bowling career has stalled since he stepped down from the Sunday & Indoor captaincy, as he was the only captain in the club who believed in his round the wicket darts.

Little Known Fact: JC is a part-time forehead model so he always plays football wearing a headband to protect his livelihood.
