Ricci Parnell’s 3rd XI started with a resounding win over Ardleigh Green & Havering-Atte-Bower as Shaun Ross (3-10) and Bobby Granger (2-13) ripped through the visitors top order. Green battled on to complete their 40 overs at 78-8, allowing Parnell to rotate 8 bowlers, but on a drying pitch, that never looked like it would be enough.

So it proved, as veterans Andy Livett and Darren Johnson both finished unbeaten on 38 as Brook eased home in 15.3 overs.
