Goresbrook 3's got back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory against Harold Wood 6ths at the Annexe on Saturday.
Asked to bowl first, Abdullah Ahmed got the ideal start striking with this 7th ball and then two in 4 balls in his 4th over to put the visitors in deep trouble. Rahad Hassan joined in the action with a double wicket maiden before Fahad Zafar and Ben Atkins grabbed a wicket each. Grace Wood finished off the innings with two in 4 balls to leave the ten player visitors all out for 61 in 19.4 overs.
Mafi Chaudhury with 31 and Jack Gibson with 24 were in no mood to hang around, and knocked off the runs in 10 overs to give Brook a 10 wicket victory at 2.40pm .
Next week sees Brook visit Fives and Heronians in the race for second place in the division.
