‘Brook’s second string were unable to breakthrough Stows middle order to force a victory and had to settle for a draw at Buck Walk on Saturday. Visiting skipper Rohit Sharma supported with a solid 44 whilst George Godfrey chipped in with 22 as the Dagenham outfit totalled 196 for 9 in a rain interrupted session before tea was taken.
After the interval, Walthamstow openers Ali with an excellent undefeated 84 ably supported by Salim with an excellent half century laid the foundation for their sides reply. A wicket apiece for Muhammad Imran and Rukon plus a sharp run out from keeper Lovelin Mostra proved the only consolation for Goresbrook as the ganme petered out to a draw.
