2s are the Easter bunnies
Scott's men go down by 7 wickets
Aaron Scott's 2's paid the price for a sub-par batting performance on the picturesque High Easter village green, as despite a swashbuckling 67 from the returning prodigal son Joe Curley and a fine 40 from Scott's favourite running partner Craig Ivey, their tally of 196 was easily overhauled by the hosts for whom Watts hit an unbeaten 75. The erratic nature of some of the Goresbrook strokeplay was matched by some of Birdy's umpiring in what was a nightmare showing for the hound.
Two wickets for Brad Winsley (2-43) were as good as it got in the field for Aaron Scott’s men, as an unbroken partnership between Watts and Looney saw High Easter home in the 40th over, victors by 7 wickets.
