Biography

Shaun is a whole-hearted fast-medium bowler who came through the Colts section making his senior debut in 2006.

Initially appearing mainly in the 3rd XI, Shaun became a 2s regular in 2010 and then appeared in most of the title winning 1s games in the 2nd half of 2011 as Izzy was absent due to accountancy exams.

In 2013, Shaun started the season in the 1s but played most of the 2nd half of the year in the 2s as the emergence of Shane Barwick changed the balance of the attack on drier pitches.

Renowned as a manic fielder who charges around at 100mph after anything that moves, Shaun is also cementing a reputation as one of the least competent batsmen in recent 1s history, somewhat of an insult for a man who scored the clubs only century from the number 9 slot with a sensational 102* against Thurrock 3's in 2009.

Little Known Fact: 'Where's Saun?', a club catchphrase in the early 2010's, first rose to prominence when Shaun was crowned Havering Schools hide and seek champion in 2002.

Shaun's hiding place was so good that he wasn't found until somebody spotted his bottom lip poking out of the bush he was concealed in nearly 2 hours after the competition had finished.
